For Hagen Cement, it was a family event as kids and adults alike put the fresh New Years Eve snow (very packable) to good use. Vehicles traveling down US12 showed their support with honks as the project proceeded forward.

Snowzilla's hat is made from a steel 5 gallon pail welded to an old chain guard no longer in use at the shop. The eyes, mouth and buttons are made from large chunks of coke breeze (a coal like product ).  The nose is a mini megaphone with White Pigeon Chiefs logo used at local high school sporting events. About 4 hours later....throwing in an old tarp for a scarf..... and Snowzilla was ready to go.

Currently, (1-12-2010) there is a well worn path up to the giant snowman as cars frequently stop to photograph him.
